We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate OBGYN or MFM with specialized training in Genetics to join our esteemed MFM practice in Westchester, New York. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with a multidisciplinary team, affiliated with New York Medical College, a Level 4 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and a Maria Fareri Children's Hospital. Job
Responsibilities:
- Offer specialized genetic counseling and diagnostic services to patients with a range of genetic conditions, including prenatal genetic testing and interpretation of results.
- Collaborate closely with the NICU, pediatric specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes for both mother and child.
- Engage in research and teaching opportunities, contributing to the academic mission of the affiliated university and medical school.
- Participate in the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols and guidelines to improve patient care and outcomes in high-risk pregnancies.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with board certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Genetics.
- Fellowship training in Genetics.
- Additional fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine highly desirable.
- Eligible for or hold a valid New York State medical license.
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of high-risk pregnancies and genetic disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Experience in teaching and clinical research is highly desirable.
