The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an ERP Transformation and Operations Lead you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Oversee the development, deployment, modernization, maintenance, and rationalization of unique MedSurg and HIS ERPs.• Work collaboratively with other teams to formulate and enact ERP hygiene best practices such as data archiving, access management, performance monitoring, backup/recovery etc.• Simplify and streamline custom processes in the existing ERPs.• Define and deliver the overall ERP strategy that best serves the MedSurg and HIS businesses which could include cloud mobilization and rationalization of existing ERPs. • Successfully execute change management principles and receive business buy-in on ERP transformation.• Collaborate closely with S4 Hana Solventum deployment teams and act as business ambassador to prioritize strategic MedSurg and HIS needs into the deployment plans.• Hold business accountable to defining and governing their business process; only implement IT solutions when necessary and aligned with business and IT strategies.• Accountable to the highest degree of integrity, quality, and security in our ERP environment; drives improvements and transparency.• Address audits and compliance tasks with completeness in a timely manner.• Set reasonable expectations with the business and is accountable to delivering on plan.• Maintain relationships with key vendors; ensure contracts, responsiveness, finances, and capabilities align with business expectations. Is prepared with alternative solutions if any part of vendor expectations falls short.• Coordinate with teams to integrate with other systems and ensure end-to-end solutioning.• Provide coaching and career development opportunities for the team.• Act as a steward on behalf of Solventum's health in terms of budget, culture, initiatives, and policies.

Consults with leadership team to set medium- to long-term strategic direction and operating plans for a medium to large complex IT business operation. Develops business strategies and creates solutions for complex and multi-faceted problems. Provides advice and counsel for decision-making, operational/strategic planning, and information management. Implements appropriate info technology for a typically medium to large IT business operation. Plans, organizes, and directs all info technology activities and policies, including the mgmt of one or more functional disciplines.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND 10 years of ERP experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND 15 years of ERP experience in a private, public, government or military environment ​

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • 5 years hands on experience (implementation, customization, or optimization) on major ERP platforms (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and cloud technologies.

  • 5 years leading major large-scale ERP transformations including both cloud migration and rationalization of complex ERP landscapes.

  • 5 years proven experience owning the operational aspects of the ERP with ability to be on-call during crisis events.

  • 5 years leadership experience, managing and developing a team as well as managing cross functional teams and or vendors on ERP related initiatives.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Proficiency with multiple ERPs, including niche.

  • Strong understanding of business process and how ERP systems drive business value.

  • Experience in change management, including organizational buy-in and user adoption.

  • Competency in building prioritized process and governance around customizations, enhancements, operational metrics, etc.

  • Ability to manage diverse and global teams and influence stakeholders.

  • Financial acumen and ability to select economically practical ERP solutions and effectively deliver programs within budget without business disruption.

  • Lean six sigma experience, ERP certifications, and/or PMP certifications are a plus.

    Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $207,348 - $253,425, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
