Job Overview: As a Warehouse Associate I, you will play a key role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload delivery trucks, frequently moving and lifting products weighing up to 50 pounds
- Operate powered industrial vehicles (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.) in a safe manner and maintain an operator license, if required
- Prioritize and pick material to fill orders and stage products for loading
- Assist in verifying all incoming and outgoing products for accuracy, informing management of inventory shortages, and assisting in periodic inventory counts
- Organize warehouse stock by product line and physical alignment, allowing for overflow storage
- Perform custodial and maintenance tasks in the warehouse, such as cleaning parking lots and the loading dock, keeping floors clear, and maintaining bathrooms
- Compile reports on damaged or outdated stock, over- and under-shipments, and returns to vendors
- Assist with administrative tasks like handling and preparing paperwork and may assist in daily closing procedures
