Job DescriptionThe 2025-2026 Finance Internship offers a unique experience by exposing interns to virtually every area within our Finance department (budgeting processes, financial analysis, financial reporting, forecasting, and fiscal closing processes) and Risk Management. Our internship program provides each intern with meaningful hands-on opportunities to build a solid professional foundation so that they are able to successfully start their careers after graduation. Our department has a peer and team-oriented environment with several dedicated mentors. This structure will afford you the opportunity to work with other students from several other business programs. This internship also includes exposure and interaction with several key senior leaders of the organization.
Candidates must be local to St. Louis, Missouri to be considered for this role as it's required for interns to come into the office 2 days a week during the school year and 3 days a week in the summer.Responsibilities:
- Assist with advanced financial modeling and data analysis.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate financial forecasts and budgets.
- Develop skills in Excel, PeopleSoft (FSCM software), Domo, Alteryx, and G Suite.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Learn valuable workplace skills in a real-world environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Required Education: Current and Fall 2025 enrollment in a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree program, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or Mathematics and completed at least 30 credit hours.
- Available to work part-time during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Minimum GPA 3.5 preferred.
- Interest in Schnucks advancement post-graduation.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Motivated to learn and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Displays values that align with Schnucks COMET values.
- Proficient with Excel/Google Sheets and working knowledge of MS Office/Google.
Additional Requirements - Internal candidates:- Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks.
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
