Maintenance Technician (Part - Time)

Description: Our Maintenance Technicians are critical to the safe, well-running and attractiveness of our properties. This part time position is assigned to Brookside I and II apartments in Davenport, IA. The position will be about 12-16 hours per week. The position will have on-call responsibilities for emergencies.Primary Responsibilities:Corrective Maintenance by completing work requestsAssist with apartment make-ready such as painting, cleaning, replace/replace appliances, plumbing/electrical as able, vendor management, drywall repairs, etc.Assist with snow removal as neededPreventative MaintenanceEmergency maintenanceMaintain inventory of tools, equipment and suppliesEstablish and maintain good relations with residents, prospective residents, vendors and co-workers.Assist outside contractors when services are requiredPicks up trash on property by assisting others in maintaining cleanliness and safety of the propertyRequirements:List Job Qualifications:Education, work experience, licenses and certifications:Education: Minimum high school diploma or equivalentExperience: Minimum three (3) years fulltime maintenance experienceLicenses: A valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required.
