Job Description :
Content Management System Clerk needed for an 18-month contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Santa Clara, California. Pay Rate: $25 to $28 per hourThe Big Picture Top Skills You Should Possess:

What You Will Be Doing:
  • Responsible for supporting the operational performance of the content management system (CMS) and the overall relationship between the CMS team and business partners
  • Regularly audit content to ensure alignment to content management principles, style guides, and business rules
  • Develop reports and analyze CMS data
  • Work closely with those who interact with the system to provide technical expertise and process improvement support to ensure consistent use of the CMS and improved productivity
  • Detail & accuracy are crucial to this role
  • Maintain administrative governance over the organization's CMS, including identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical and user issues
  • Regularly audit content to ensure alignment to content management principles, style guides, and business rules
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and user issues
  • Manage migration of content libraries and processes into the CMS
  • Publish communications to users about methodologies, new features, downtime, upgrades, etc.
  • Develop and document processes and policies as needed to establish consistent use of the CMS
  • Prepare reports that are concise, intuitive, and actionable for end users and managers, as well as analyze CMS usage data, including monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness
  • Provide training on the system, processes, and policies to new CMS users
  • Provide support assigned projects, such as ensuring content management processes are effective
  • Actively participate in collaborative meetings with teams and other key stakeholders to support the day-to-day operational requirements
  • Engage and collaborate with IT to support successful testing of all system updates, upgrades, integrated tools, and other software integrated within the CMS
  • Recommend future improvements to the CMS including content management features, workflow, integrations, and user experience
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
  • 3 + years' experience administering a CMS or similar tool or a Master Library & Information Sciences (MLIS) degree
  • Demonstrated abilities in developing and maintaining effective, positive working relationships with stakeholders
  • Strong organizational abilities, including the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Strong attention to details, deadlines and a passion for accuracy
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and communication
  • Self-reliant and capable of quickly solving problems and resolving conflicts at various levels
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to think critically and creatively and make decisions based on instructions and previous experience
  • Ability to quickly understand current business drivers and adapt as needed when challenges and opportunities arise
  • Exceptional verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with SharePoint, Teams, MS Office suite
  • Experience with Taxonomies is a plus
  • Bachelor Degree
