This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.The EHS group in San Luis Obispo supports day-to-day functions of operations. This group is seeking an individual who wants to broaden their knowledge of safety end environmental management systems, assess risk and manage corporate compliance.What You'll Do:•Learn to lead EHS training•Spend time performing and learning the work of an EHS specialist•Develop a working knowledge of local, state and federal EHS regulations•Conduct EHS Assessments (PPE, Hazard/Risks, Safety Walks)•Document and cross-reference•The student will be given projects centered around health safety and/or environmentWhat We Seek:•Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with other people or groups•Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple assignments•Aptitude to research and solve problems•Basic understanding of manufacturing environment and processesOutstanding Candidates Will Have:•Strong writing and communication skills•The ability to perform compliance-based researchDesired Major(s) & Graduation Year:•Health, Industrial Engineering•Environmental Science•Industrial Engineering•Occupational SafetyGraduating in Fall 2025 or laterWhat We OfferAt Entegris, we invest in providing opportunity to our employees and promote from within.
