Type: 6 months Contract-to-Hire
Location: Fully remote, but one onsite visit per month. Employee must live near Austin, TX
The Unified Communications team is seeking a customer-focused Systems Enginer with expertise pertaining to IAM, hands-on server and data center configuration, automation, and virtualization. We always have our eyes on the horizon and are keenly interested in hiring an Engineer who shares our interest in the modernization of our environment. See below for more details.
Must Haves:
- A minimum four years of experience with, and adept knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Windows Server Management (IIS).
- Professional experience with rack-and-stack data center management (cabling, power management, etc.).
- Experience automating tasks related to user provisioning/onboarding (security groups, user details, etc.).
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Professional expertise with VMWare provisioning and handle requests for virtualization.
- Experience handling daily tickets for internal users.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Information Systems, or Computer Science.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Professional experience creating Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
- Working knowledge of Java to troubleshoot integrations and automate tasks.
- Basic expertise with SQL, Linux, and/or IBM Mainframe technologies.
