Epic HIM Analyst

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epic HIM Analyst to support our clients Epic Health Information Management (HIM) team. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in Epic implementation, build, testing, upgrades, and optimization, as well as expertise in HIM workflows, deficiency tracking, release of information (ROI), and coding. This role involves extensive interaction with end-users, technical teams, and vendors to ensure seamless implementation and ongoing support of HIM applications.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, build, test, and optimize Epic HIM applications, including Deficiency Tracking, ROI, and Hospital Coding.
- Configure and maintain work queues (WQs), dashboards, and templates for HIM functions.
- Create and update reports, dashboards, print groups, and batch jobs for HIM workflows.
- Implement and maintain identity work queues for chart correction, duplicates, and overlays.
- Map printers and faxing devices for ROI and HIM departments.
- Perform security analysis and updates for user templates, roles, and profiles.
- Conduct system integration testing, data validation, and interface testing for HIM applications.
- Lead and participate in workflow demonstrations and HIM optimization projects.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address technical issues and ensure system integrity.
Qualifications:
- Certifications: Epic Health Information Management (HIM) certifications, including Release of Information, Deficiency Tracking, and Hospital Coding.
- 5+ years of experience in Epic HIM implementation and support roles.
