Job Summary:Revive RX is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Houston, Texas. This role is essential to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of payroll processing for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, an eye for detail, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. As the Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for handling various payroll tasks, including data management, reporting, compliance with federal and state regulations, and responding to payroll-related inquiries.Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Execute bi-weekly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Revive RX policies and federal/state laws.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update payroll records, employee information, and other relevant data in payroll systems.
  • Timekeeping: Review and verify timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and ensure all work hours are accurately recorded.
  • Deductions & Adjustments: Handle employee deductions, benefits contributions, garnishments, tax withholdings, and any necessary payroll adjustments.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on changes to payroll laws and regulations and ensure payroll practices are compliant with federal and state requirements.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and distribute payroll reports, earnings statements, and year-end tax forms (such as W-2s).
  • Audits: Assist with payroll audits and provide required documentation for internal and external auditing processes.
  • Employee Support: Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide clear communication on pay calculations, tax withholdings, and other payroll issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee information and support other financial functions as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll administration or related roles.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll software (experience with ADP, Paycom, or similar systems is a plus) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices in Texas.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and payroll calculations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively respond to employee inquiries and work with HR and Finance teams.
  • Confidentiality: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of payroll data and employee information.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification or a similar credential. - Familiarity with multi-state payroll processing and compliance requirements. - Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. This position is also available for a 1099 contracting option.
