They should then be able to analyze test and simulation data and summarize the results via written reports.Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for preparing and properly performing crash safety related testing for vehicle developments, analyzing test and simulation data and summarizing the results.
  • General activities will also include developing planning targets & specifications for the crash safety performance and collaborating with other design engineers.
  • Test results and analysis to be communicated through written reports, summaries and small group meetings.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor of Science, Mechanical Engineering (or Equivalent)
  • 0-6 years of crash safety test industry experience
  • CAE tools preferred (LS-Dyna, ANSA, Meta-Post), Catia, Linux OS, MS Office
Working Conditions
  • Willingness to work in a physical testing environment is required, including execution of physical tests (component, and full-vehicle crash tests).
  • Overtime work and occasional travel will be required depending on project need.
