The Senior Benefits Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for employees, delivering outstanding employee engagement in all matters related to benefits inquiries. This includes health and wellness, enrollments, retirement, and voluntary benefits programs. This role involves detailed claims resolution, eligibility support, and continuous project engagement to enhance the company's benefits offerings.

Description
- Oversees day-to-day operations of health and insurance benefits programs, ensuring effective and efficient service delivery.
- Supports the development of educational materials and the delivery of comprehensive benefits presentations to improve utilization and general understanding of company benefits, educating employees on their healthcare and group insurance benefits offerings.
- Assists with implementation and management of programs, including communications and impact analysis.
- Supports annual benefits activities such as Open Enrollment, compliance reporting, and program valuation.
- Conducts benefits training and new hire orientations.
- Effectively processes the company's Leaves of Absence, FMLA, STD, LTD, Worker's Comp, and third-party claims.
- Assists with benchmarking analysis and monitoring of our current benefits programs to ensure plan effectiveness and employee satisfaction.
- Ensures proper management of the health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances, as well as Flexible Spending Accounts and COBRA.
- Acts as liaison with 401(k) plan administrator, including SPDs, Non-Discrimination Testing, 5500's, Loans & Withdrawals, Forfeiture Accounts, fees disclosure statements, enrollments and quarterly changes.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years' experience in benefits administration
- Expert knowledge of employee benefits regulations and best practices
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors, employees, and senior leadership
- Outstanding written/verbal communication and presentation skills
- Knowledgeable in OSHA and workers compensation policies.
- Knowledgeable in multi-state leave benefits.
