CNC Setup Machinist

Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Setup Machinist to join the team. As a CNC Setup Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up CNC machines according to work orders, blueprints, and drawings
  • Verify machine settings, tooling, and fixtures for accuracy
  • Load raw materials, ensure proper calibration, and conduct test runs
  • Inspect and measure parts for quality assurance using precision measuring tools
  • Troubleshoot machine issues and make adjustments as necessary
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure the cleanliness of equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and ensure deadlines are met
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain a safe work environment

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Setup Machinist
  • Strong understanding of CNC machining operations and programming
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
