Title: Patient Access Representative

Location: Nashville, TN (4x10)

Duration: 3-month contract to hire

Pay Rate: $18/hr- $21/hr

Required Skills:

• 2 years of experience as a Patient Financial Counselor (outpatient or inpatient)
• Demonstrates knowledge of the appropriate rules and regulations for insurance policies, claims, payment and coverage
• Able to stand on your feet for 10 hours a day
• High School Degree or GED

Job Description

Our client is looking for an inpatient financial counselor to join their team. This person is responsible for developing financial plans for patients who may be uninsured or under-insured with minimal guidance. Screens patients and facilitates referral to state/other funding resources. Conducts follow-up on in-house and discharged accounts. You would also help with a financial payment plan. If they need financial assistants they will escalate to other team. This role is 4 x 10s and is required to work every other weekend onsite in downtown Nashville, TN.
