Looking for a skilled Systems Engineer local to the Houston experienced with Intune, System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Azure migrations, and PowerShell scripting.
Day to Day:
- Azure AD and Intune Migration: Lead with the migration from Citrix to Azure AD, playing a role in the implementation of Intune for workstation and mobile device management.
- SCCM/MECM Support: While SCCM expertise isn't required, candidates should have a working knowledge of the system, including how it is used for distributing OS and application updates. Long-term potential to become a backup SME for MECM.
- PowerShell Scripting: Write and understand PowerShell scripts for automation and backend application package deployment.
- Problem Solving: Dive into logs and root cause analysis to troubleshoot issues beyond basic identification. Provide intelligent solutions and take ownership of problems without needing extensive guidance.
- Tier 3 Desktop Support: Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to operating systems (Windows), office applications, and other software. Work with SCCM/MECM for updates and deployments.
Required Skills:
- Strong Troubleshooting Ability: Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues with Windows operating systems, office applications, and general desktop support.
- SCCM/MECM Familiarity: Working knowledge of SCCM/MECM for distributing OS and application updates. Ability to troubleshoot and analyze log files.
- PowerShell Scripting: Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and application package deployment.
- Azure AD Migration Experience: Experience with Azure AD, particularly in migration projects.
- Intune Knowledge: General understanding of Intune with the potential to grow into a lead role for Intune expertise.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Azure Migrations: Candidates with hands-on experience in Azure migrations will be preferred.
- Self-Starter Attitude: Ability to learn on the job, ask questions intelligently, and run with solutions independently.
- Previous Experience in Law Firm IT Environment: Not required but a plus.
