Job Description

AbbVie is seeking an accomplished and visionary leader to serve as the Head of Health Economic & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA This strategic role requires a leader with a deep understanding of health economics and strong track record in managing teams and driving successful market access initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee the development and implementation of HEOR and HTA strategies to support AbbVie's product portfolio across Scandinavia.

* Lead and mentor a team of HEOR/HTA Managers, guiding them to achieve strategic objectives and enhance the organization's market access capabilities.

* Drive successful HTA reimbursement and negotiation processes across Scandinavia , ensuring optimal market access.

* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop robust value propositions and health economic rationales for products.

* Shape policy initiatives and strategies, utilizing an extensive understanding of the healthcare environment and payer systems within Scandinavia.

* Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, promoting the development and publication of HEOR studies.

Key Capabilities Required:

* Proven track record of successful leadership and coaching of cross-functional teams and individuals.

* Extensive experience in HTA reimbursement and negotiations within a Scandinavian context.

* Extensive knowledge of the healthcare environment, including deep knowledge of at least one Scandinavian payer systems, funding flows, and legislation affecting HTA of pharmaceutical products (preferably with experience from all Scandinavian countries)

* Deep expertise in health economics methodologies and HEOR study development, with a preference for publication experience.

* Strong policy-making knowledge and extensive understanding of Scandinavian healthcare systems, funding flows, and legislative frameworks.

* Ability to lead complex cross-functional collaborations and align Market Access, Medical, and Commercial strategies.

Qualifications

* Advanced degree in a relevant field, with specialized training in epidemiology, economic modeling, and/or statistics.

* Over 8 years of impactful experience in a senior HEOR position within the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.

* Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and communication abilities.

* Swedish, Danish and/or Norwegian fluency verbally and in writing.

* English language proficiency verbally and in writing.
