The Global Field Onboarding team
We believe onboarding is the cornerstone of field productivity and success. At Okta, the Global Onboarding Team plays a mission-critical role in accelerating new hire ramp time, equipping them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to perform at their best in a highly technical environment.
Our Global Field Onboarding program is a holistic experience that includes a self-guided Onboarding Learning Journey, the immersive, in-person Onboarding Assembly event, and an Onboarding Scorecard for progress tracking.
The Global Onboarding Manager (Auth0) opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Global Onboarding, this role will help transform onboarding into a growth engine for Okta's field teams. The Global Onboarding Manager will spearhead the onboarding program expansion and focus on building a curriculum to support our Auth0/CIC (Customer Identity Cloud) and CIAM (Customer Identity Access Management) business. Our new team members will continue to support our broader world-class onboarding experiences, including launching an onboarding certification. This role is key to scaling our onboarding strategy and ensuring every new hire is ready to help secure our customers.
* This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment.
What you'll be doing
Specifically, the Global Onboarding Manager (Auth0) will do the following. (Demonstrated success in all characteristics is not required to apply; we expect the ideal candidate also to grow into the role.)
* Design & Deliver Scalable Experiences: Build, coordinate, execute, and facilitate onboarding strategies tailored for our Auth0/CIC solution and CIAM business, ensuring alignment across global regions and functions.
* Elevate In-Person Onboarding Events: Lead the planning and execution of our high-impact, in-person Onboarding events at HQ in San Francisco, serving as a core lead facilitator for new hire success.
* Onboarding Certification: Assist and support in the build of a new Onboarding Certification for Account Executives to ensure they are ready to sell and quickly achieve productivity.
* Auth0/CIC Product Knowledge: Leverage deep product knowledge in the Auth0/CIC solution to design curriculum enhancements that empower new hires to sell effectively in a complex, technical environment.
* Foster Cohesion: Create a consistent, cohesive onboarding experience across roles, regions, and business units, collaborating closely with leadership and key stakeholders.
* Measure & Optimize: Monitor and report onboarding effectiveness using scorecards and feedback loops, iterating to continuously improve outcomes.
* Champion Enablement Excellence: Build and maintain relationships with field leaders, ensuring onboarding aligns with Okta's strategic objectives.
What you'll bring to the role & what we're looking for
* 5+ years of experience in new-hire sales onboarding, sales, or a related field, preferably in a global software company.
* Product Knowledge Pro: Deep understanding of (or ability to learn quickly) complex technical products, particularly Okta's Customer Identity Cloud, with a knack for simplifying concepts into actionable learning.
* Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of (or ability to quickly learn) the customer identity landscape, including the needs of the engineering and developer buying personas
* Field Enablement Expert: Experience creating and scaling onboarding or enablement programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with practical sales experience preferred.
* Operational Guru: Proven ability to manage large-scale programs with precision, from logistics to execution, while juggling competing priorities with exceptional communication and project management skills.
* Exceptional Facilitator: Comfortable commanding a room (virtual or in-person), with a facilitation style that engages, inspires, and drives behavior change.
* Collaborative Partner: Skilled at building trust and alignment across diverse stakeholders, fostering collaboration to achieve common goals.
* Continuous Improver: Data-driven and outcome-oriented, constantly seeking ways to enhance onboarding effectiveness and speed up productivity.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies.
