Job DescriptionAssistant Distribution Manager Currently working with a wholesale distributor that has a need for an Assistant Distribution Manager to be responsible for all aspects of inventory management for facility. The Assistant Distribution Manager will assist the Distribution Manager in preparing reports, planning budgets, setting distribution schedules, pricing products, and making purchasing decisions based on estimated consumer demand, sales data, and industry knowledge.will ensure accurate inventory records, optimizing inventory bin locations, managing the cycle process, and implementing efficient processes to support operations. Must have:
- 5-10 yrs management experience in a Distribution environment
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Experience managing warehouse staff regarding hiring, training, motivating teammates, and resolving employee relations issues
- Strong in process improvements
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Change Management experience
- Lean Six Sigma certification and experience required
