Position Title: Homebound Instructor Status: Part TimePay Range: Starts at $40.00 per hour, with the potential for higher rates depending on work experience.Experience: Candidates must hold a valid New Jersey Middle School and/or High School Teaching Certification and have proven experience working with students at these grade levels.Position Summary: The Homebound Instructor provides in-home, in-community, and virtual instruction to multiple school districts in Medford County, New Jersey. The homebound instructor will implement one-to-one individualized instruction with students. Job Responsibilities:
Plan instruction that follows the district-approved curriculum for the assigned grade level and subject area.Plan instruction consistent with the Individualized Education Program (IEP), where applicable.Assess student abilities and needs using both formal and informal methods.Develop teaching methods that are appropriate for the learning objectives and the individual needs of the students.Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, the school district, and the program coordinator regarding the student's progressMaintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.Education, Experience and Requirements: Bachelors degree in applicable field(psychology, social work, education, special education) required.Must be willing and able to complete background checks required per New Jersey law.
