Location: Bordentown, NJ, 08505
Duration: 6 month contract
Schedule: M - F, 40 50 hours per work week, Saturday and Sunday as required
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Maintenance Department through effective management of the department's resources to maximize process reliability. As a backup to the Maintenance Planner, use the work order system (SAP) to review, sort, plan, schedule, and assign work orders to mechanics to preventive maintenance, repair or replace equipment. Coordinate activities with Production. Prepare work permits and review lockouts with Mechanics in field. Confirm completion status of each assigned job with the Mechanics, document and provide feedback to the Maintenance Planner.
- Monitor the productivity, safety and quality of the activities of the Maintenance Mechanics and Boiler Operators and resolve issues as required. Coordinate Mechanics call-in coverage schedules. Optimize the departments work processes, systems and methods. Supervise Mechanics/Boiler Operators daily in the plant.
- Provide technical support in field required to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Maintain Preventive Maintenance Program in an evergreen mode. Identify chronic problems, determine root cause and implement permanent fix.
- Ensure Preventive Maintenance work associated with ISO, PSM and EHS equipment is completed as scheduled by the Maintenance Planner. Assist in maintaining ISO, PSM and EHS equipment files. Perform ISO duties as assigned. Participate in the quality improvement process.
- Responsible for adherence to the Maintenance budgets, Boiler house budget, and Utilities budget.
- Provide guidance and development to Maintenance Department through the implementation of policies, procedures and training.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- All employees must comply with applicable PSM standards as well as EHS&S Responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience working in a similar capacity
- Must have at least an Associates Degree in a related field
