- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction, housing, human services, police or fire science, or a closely related is required
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in customer service experience is required.
- Current Dwelling Code Inspector Certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year of hire or promotion is required.
- A valid state-issued driver's license at time of hire is required.
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in construction, public health, police or fire science, social services, housing, or closely related field from an accredited college or university is desirable.

Supplemental Information What is the typical schedule? A regular Monday - Friday, 40-hour work schedule between the office hours of 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM, is required for this position. There is some flexibility to choose to your schedule between office hours.
