Job Summary and Qualifications

The Imaging Modality Coordinator performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in performing standard examinations in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries. The Coordinator supervises technical and non-technical staff in their designated areas with an emphasis on productivity, efficiency, customer service, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology required
  • RT(R)(ARRT) required with advanced registry as/if appropriate to modality(s) managed
  • 5 years of clinical experience preferred
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Previous Interventional Radiology, Speical Procedures, or Cath Lab experience strongly preferred
  • American Red Cross BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What you will do in this role:

  • Supervise technical and non-technical staff in designated areas with an emphasis on productivity, efficiency, customer service, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate quality patient care by attending to patients' comfort needs and demonstrating concern for their spiritual and emotional needs.
  • Tactfully and diplomatically communicate with patients, various departments, and their employees.
  • Maintain a productive and friendly work environment to aid in the retention of staff.
  • Handle patient/family concerns and seeks appropriate resolution.
  • Consistently respond to employee/patient issues/concerns in a kind and non-judgmental manner in order to promote high employee/patient satisfaction survey results.
  • Help the Director identify and resolve departmental/staff and patient issues by communicating openly and honestly with employees and all stakeholders.
  • Consistently and openly support actions and efforts of the Imaging and Therapy management team.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities, including ACR, Joint Commission compliance, facility inspections/drills, and department specific activities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Validation Checklist(s).
  • Meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives established annually as listed on the Performance Evaluation Tool.

TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services.
