POSITION SCOPE

The P6 Scheduler will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of horizontal construction projects and a strong background in project scheduling.

POSITION DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for schedule development
  • Monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes
  • Identify potential scheduling conflicts and propose solutions to mitigate delays
  • Prepare and distribute regular schedule reports and progress updates to the project team and senior management
  • Ensure compliance with project timelines and contractual requirements
  • Assist in the development of project budgets and resource plans
  • Conduct schedule risk analysis and provide recommendations for schedule improvements
  • Develop schedules for bidding purposes including design build projects

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling for horizontal construction projects
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
