In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality production while maintaining safety and compliance with industry standards. You will work collaboratively with your team to meet departmental goals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.This posting will offer a one-time sign on bonus of $2,500!Your Responsibilities:
  • Operate packaging equipment, including thermoformers and cartoners.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, determining root causes through data analysis.
  • Perform routine operational tasks such as driving a fork truck, loading product components, and cleaning equipment and production areas.
  • Ensure all production operations are in compliance with cGMP and ISO 9000 standards.
  • Follow proper documentation and verification guidelines for batch production records, SOPs, and sample submissions.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Required Experience: Good mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
  • Top 2 skills: Strong mechanical or equipment knowledge; troubleshooting skills.
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
  • Experience with thermoforming and cartoning packaging equipment.
  • Familiarity with computer systems like Veeva, Delta V, PI Data Historian, SAP, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience in packaging operations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot vacuum systems, labeling, and vision systems.
Additional Information:
  • Location: Clinton, IN Manufacturing Site
  • The shift is a 12-hour rotating shift (A/B/C/D).
  • This shift may be adjusted as business demands increase, which could include rotating shifts (Days/Nights)
  • Some overtime is required to cover for the other personnel operations absence and extended process requirements.
  • Minimal travel may be required for training and equipment factory acceptance testing.
This position is a fixed duration employee with a one-year contract, annually renewable for up to 4 years with a potential for a full-time position, based on individual performance and business needs.
