The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. And that's where you come in.AccountabilitiesAccountabilities:Assembles products efficiently and accurately by hand or using hand tools or portable powered tools.Utilizes experience, selects the best hand tools or portable powered tools to assemble product in the most efficient manner.Performs Setup and operates equipment as necessary, including performing routine maintenance, to produce or process products.Operates basic test equipment such as DMM, continuity testers etc. for verifying wiring, contact resistance or locating faults.Assembles products according to customers' needs following blueprints and specifications.Painting cast iron steel and aluminum material, wet paint.Inspects own work for accuracy, completeness and compliance to requirements, including HSE requirements, highest quality standards and Safety critical requirements.Operate overhead crane, forklift, and other material handling equipment.Required Skills & Knowledge:Good verbal and written communication skills2-3 years of expertise as an Associate AssemblerDesired Skills & Knowledge:Ability to work independently and prioritize work from multiple sourcesElectro-mechanical assembly, mechanical assembly or industrial paintingKnowledge of the Product and Product familiesEducation Required:High School or equivalentEqual Opportunity Employer (EOE)-Females/Minorities/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities If you need a reasonable accommodation to apply for a job at Hitachi, please send the nature of request and contact information to [emailprotected].
