Role Overview:We're seeking a Business Analyst to join our analytics team at Flourish and Thrive Labs. In this role, you'll be the bridge between our public health partners and our technical teams, helping translate needs into analytical solutions. This position is perfect for someone who combines strong facilitation skills with analytical thinking and has a passion for public health improvement through data-driven solutions.Our ideal candidate will have worked in a local, tribal, or state health department. Salary Range: $83,000 - $90,000 per year (and we pay 100% of health insurance for you + your family)Experience Required: 2-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role Experience working in governmental public health (local, state, federal, non-profit, or contracting) preferred Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and leading requirements gathering sessionsKey Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering and Analysis Lead listening sessions with public health stakeholders Document and analyze business requirements Create user stories and requirements documentation Map current state processes and envision future state solutions Identify opportunities for process improvementStakeholder Engagement Facilitate meetings with diverse stakeholder groups Build and maintain strong relationships with clients Present findings and recommendations to various audiences Coordinate between technical teams and public health partners Guide stakeholders through solution development processAnalytics Support Collaborate with analytics team on solution design Help translate business needs into analytical requirements Support the development of analytical products Assist in testing and validation of solutions Create documentation for analytical productsProject Support Maintain project documentation Track project progress and deliverables Identify and communicate project risks Support change management initiatives Contribute to project planning and executionRequired Skills: Strong facilitation and meeting management abilities Excellence in requirements gathering and documentation Experience with analytical tools (Tableau experience a plus) Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic understanding of data analysis concepts Ability to translate complex technical concepts for various audiencesHas previously worked in a local, tribal, or state health department. Preferred Skills: Public health or healthcare experience Experience with data visualization tools Background in process improvement Knowledge of agile methodologies Experience with public health data systems
