We are looking for you to join our team as a *Finance Manager 3 *based out of Linthicum, MD. This position offers the 9/80 schedule. The *Finance Manager 3 *role that will support the MS-Europe Division as the Controller and Financial Planning & Reporting manager. This individual* *will provide direct supervision to the Financial Planning staff and coordinate all activities that relate to financial planning and reporting. The Manager will coordinate and work closely with the Director of Business Management for the MSE Division and other functions across the organization, to complete the following activities:* Monthly Forecast Projections and analysis * Monthly actual closings and reporting deliverables * Monthly Reporting Process and support the Reviews for the Business Units and Division * Cash forecasting * Annual Operating Plan * Conduct financial analysis & Coordinate responses to ad hoc requests from Business Unit, Division, Sector and/or Corporate.As part of the role's Controller's responsibilities, the individual will interface directly with the 5 foreign subsidiaries in MSE (NG Italia, LITEF, NSS, Sperry, & Solystic) and provide support relative to:* Accounting: revenue recognition, inter-company accounting, statutory filing reviews * Program Compliance: EAC reviews * Finance: general financial statement supportBasic Qualifications:* Bachelor's Degree with 8 years of experience in any combination of business management, finance and or accounting OR a Master's Degree and 6 years of related experience as stated above * Working knowledge of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) * High level of proficiency with MS Excel * Leadership experience * Abiity to travel internationally 10% of the time.*Preferred Qualifications:** Current or previous experience in Aerospace & Defense financial planning and reporting * SAP ERP experience * IBM Cognos Analytics experience * Ability to support European working hours for some meetings*What We Can Offer You * Northrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment which encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
