- Knowledge of human resources procedures.

Duties / Responsibilities Job Duties Duty/Responsibility HR Shared Services SupportPartners with Recruiting & Onboarding, HR Operations, the Time and Leave Team, HR Compensation, and HRIS to support the needs of the campus. Handles basic inquiries via phone, email, or walk-ins, educating the campus community on HR processes, and deferring to the respective Shared Services staff when appropriate. Works collaboratively with USNH Shared Services to provide insight on PSU's needs as it pertains to various processes, policies, and related project.Duty/Responsibility General HR SupportProvides campus-specific HR support and project support for the HR Director as needed, including but not limited to:
- Tracking of performance evaluations and required trainings.
- Maintaining up-to-date campus documentation.
- Imaging documents and pulling personnel files.
- Supporting PSU -specific HR events and programs, such as recognition awards.
- Completing new hire Form I-9 employment authorization and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collecting and distributing campus and USPS mail.
- Contribute to communications and correspondence for a variety of campus announcements.
Duty/Responsibility Office Support and Supervision
- Submit purchase requests, facilities work orders, and reimbursement requests as needed for the office.
- Maintain and update all HR website content, including forms, contact information, etc.
- Provide financial/budget support to the HR Director as assigned.
- Hire, train, mentor, and direct the work of student employees.
