JOB OPENING: Operations Manager (Salem/Monmouth)SALARY: $4,800 - $5,100/monthSTART DATE: As soon as an appropriate candidate is foundJOB SUMMARY:This position is responsible for the overall operations of a pod of 24-hour residential homes for people experiencing intellectual/developmental disabilities and challenging behavioral issues. The Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of the staff scheduling templates, multi-process quality assurance/data integrity, licensing preparation/onsite reviews/plans of improvement, health and safety, hiring/recruiting support, direct supervision/training of management staff/RPS II, III staff, funding reviews, and serving in the administrative on-call rotation. The Operations Manager backfills open management positions within the pod, and is therefore accountable to the general Residential Program Manager job description, including, but not limited to: behavior intervention, staff supervision, service coordination, skill training, and quality support services. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience
- High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and; minimum of 3 years of experience in the following areas: Managing a 24-hour I/DD home.
- A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, Education, Social Work, or the equivalent, may substitute for 1 year of experience.
- Current ODDS Behavior Professional status, or ability to qualify for this status preferred, but not required.
