Dining Services Associate Job Location: Wallingford Center, ConnecticutDining Services AssociateMasonicare Health Center - Wallingford, CTEvening Shift / 15hrs/wk / EOW3:30pm-7:30pmTheDining Services Associateis responsible for performing a variety of resident food service functions thatmay include patient meal service, food preparation and assembly, maintaining department and position related sanitation guidelines.Dining Services Associate - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:+ Assess unit service needs regarding food, paper, dishware, sanitation and overall cleanliness+ Pick-up all non-food supplies, diet list, menus, meal tickets and restock cabinets+ Pick-up all food supplies and set-up service areas, take temps and record+ Serve resident meals according to meal order taken by CNA+ Clean service areas including all utensils, trash and service carts after each meal+ Return soiled items and unused food to dish room after each meal+ All service items are cleaned and sanitized by following dish machine process after each meal+ Return all serving utensils, pan/pots to appropriate unit after each meal+ Take inventory of all items needed for next shift and place into unit mailbox located in the kitchen+ Complete unit sanitation checklist and give to supervisor before leaving for the day11. Performs other duties as assignedQualifications:Education: High School or GEDExperience: On the job trainingAbility to read, write and comprehend basic instructions in English. Ability to work in a team setting and meets deadlines and follows processes.COMPENSATION: Masonicare has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range relative to your experience.
