This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including HRIS entry, record-keeping, and file maintenance. The ideal candidate is English/ Spanish Bilingual, highly motivated, eager to learn, and pays great attention to detail. This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. This is an in-person role based out of Tampa, FL. The position is eligible for 1 hybrid work from home day after a 90-day probationary period, pending work performance. HR Coordinator Duties & Responsibilities:
- Under the direction of one or more HR Business Partners, is a vital source of general human resources information for our employees.
- Conducts administrative onboarding of new hires in HRIS system.
- Abides by company HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files.
- Organizes, maintains, and updates employee HRIS information, as needed.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.
- Answers general benefits questions.
- May perform some recruitment duties, facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants.
- Triages calls and emails from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Maintains general knowledge of trends, best practices, employment laws, and HR related technologies.
- Supports any other special projects that arise based on organizational need.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
HR Coordinator Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience using ADP Workforce. (Preferred)
- English/Spanish Bilingual is a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related business and communication tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions accurately and without hesitation.
- Thorough attention to details.
- Professional integrity and sense of responsibility and accountability.
- Reliable and personable; enjoy working with a diverse range of individuals and ensuring employee requirements and needs are met first.
