Hematology/Oncology (NP/PA) opening in Grand Forks, ND Position Summary: A rewarding opportunity is available for an Advanced Practice Provider specializing in Hematology Oncology. This position focuses on collaborating with physicians to deliver comprehensive care to patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions, providing education and support to patients and families, and ensuring continuity of care in a compassionate and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities: Provide patient and family education tailored to individual needs, promoting understanding of conditions and treatment plans. Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and assessments. Manage acute and chronic health conditions with appropriate medical interventions. Develop and implement individualized care plans within the scope of practice. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab studies to assess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly. Prescribe medications under established protocols. Act as a liaison and resource for patients, families, physicians, and healthcare team members. Participate in health promotion, disease prevention, and maintenance efforts within the healthcare system and broader community. Qualifications: Current drivers license with an acceptable driving record. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (to be completed within 90 days of start). Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications. A minimum of 1 year of related experience.
