: Job Details :

Production (houses): Work in laying hen barns and their number one priority is caring for the hens. Duties include, but are not limited to, ensuring the hens have constant access to feed and water, monitoring lighting, temperature and air quality, and checking the health of each hen, cleaning the houses, and other related duties as assigned by management. Hens are cared for 7 days/week. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (non-exclusive list) Care for layer birds. Cleaning the houses. Ensure proper water and feed levels at all times. Monitor for water leaks. Ensure proper ventilation and temperatures, taking appropriate action when needed. Participate in maintenance of houses, equipment, and fans if needed. Any other duties as indicated by management. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Able to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Able and willing to work around moving machinery. Able to stand for 8-12 hours per day.
