Client is seeking a talented Designer/Developer with strong interpersonal communication and user research skills with a strong focus on requirements gathering, user experience, usability, and accessibility to join our web application team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring web forms for citizens with workflow automation using a cloud-based government modernization platform (ideally SimpliGov), adhering to strict design guidelines. Your work will emphasize usability and accessibility, ensuring that forms are easy to navigate and use for a wide range of users, including those with disabilities. A keen understanding of web and mobile design, especially related to layout and responsiveness, is essential.
**The candidate will need to come onsite on the first day to collect equipment.**
**All candidates must be local to the Triangle region of North Carolina, and posting may require up to 1-2 days per week in a Triangle area office for meetings. **
