Balance and monitor Accounts Receivable and related functions for the Department. Maintain a complete understanding of all services provided by the financial department for cross training purposes. This is one of three positions working as a cross functional team.

Provide customer service, to both external and internal customers on behalf of following internal customers:

+ Planning & Development Services

+ Emergency Services EMS

+ Public Utilities

Audit Credit Card Machine for PCI Compliance

Balance Cash Drawer Daily

Prepare and submit insufficient funds documentation and cost

Prepare, design and distribute reports, including credit card information

Prepares refunds as required

Prepare, balance and monitor credit card and daily receipts and reports

Verifies Batch Report Information to third party billing agency and internal customer

Assists with reporting as assigned

Possess the ability to identify, interpret and implement changes as the result of new processes, legislative or regulatory requirements & software changes

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:15 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

About You

Minimum Qualifications: An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting or Finance plus four (4) years experience in auditing procedures, inventory control or bookkeeping/financial duties. Year-for-year basis may substitute for the college degree.

Job Competencies: Bookkeeping, Accounting Courses. Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel

About Everything Else

Pay: $23.33 - $23.80
