Job Description :
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director of E-commerce Operations to lead the operational side of their website and upcoming app in the B2B sector. This high-visibility role reports directly to the CEO and is crucial for driving growth by ensuring seamless website functionality. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce operational strategy in collaboration with the VP of Marketing, aligning with the company's business objectives. - Implement innovative e-commerce operational solutions to enhance customer experience and drive sales. - Ensure the e-commerce website runs smoothly, providing a seamless user experience, working closely with the service provider, as well as existing Marketing, IT, Supply Innovation, and Operations teams. - Manage the third party responsible for order fulfillment, including inventory, re-packing, inventory replenishment, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers. - Collaborate with the VP of Operations to ensure exceptional support to B2B customers. - Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing team of e-commerce professionals as the site develops. - Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to measure the success of e-commerce initiatives, working with Finance. - Work closely with the Vice President of Operations and Sr. Director of I.T. to ensure the coordination of B2B website operations with existing business functions. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. - 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, preferably in the B2B sector. - Proven track record of taking a start-up website/operations and transforming it into a profitable venture. - Experience working in environments with high regulatory and safety standards is a plus. - Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics. - Excellent project management and organizational skills. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
