Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Machine Operator to work out of the Blytheville, AR facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION:Ensure the safe and continuous operation of all machinery, and report unsafe conditions. Monitor and control aspects of the mill manufacturing process, including loading coil, operating equipment, and completing quality control checks throughout. Ensure equipment remains in proper operating condition. Perform all size, gauge, grade, and shape changes on the production line for assigned tube and pipe mill. Inspect tooling condition at the end of each rolling and communicate the need for reconditioning. Troubleshoot, solve, and communicate problems to crew and supervision to ensure quality of product. Assist maintenance in performing simple preventive maintenance and repair tasks such as mill adjustment, fluid checks, minor part replacement and equipment lubrication.
