As a global leader in Stainless Steel, we're seeking a dynamic Business and Operational Planning Director to join our Supply Chain team in Calvert, Mobile County, Alabama.

We invite you to explore this exceptional career opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing the S&OP Process, Demand Management and Capacity Planning for BA Americas. You will also be overseeing the Mill Planning and Scheduling for our Calvert and San Luis Potosi locations and the shipped On-Time in full measure and the reporting for all Americas facilities.

What you will bring:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar

* Master's Degree in Business Administration

* Project or Processes Management certifications preferred

* Previous experience working for Steel or Metals production industries

* 8+ years previous operation and/or reporting experience in steel business desired

* Vast demonstrated experience supervising the S&OP process

* Experience leading mulitple departments and team

* Experience controlling budget

* Highly experienced working with Demand Management and Capacity Planning for different facilities

* Experience with management of the Pull System and OEM supply chain inventories

Some of the key activities you will be responsible for:

* Yearly forecast creation

* Conduct monthly capacity and performance analyses to ensure that forecasts and schedules are aligned and integrated.

* Develops and implements a strategies to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs

* Drive and facilitate the monthly Sales and Operations Planning process

* Drive Demand Management and capacity planning for the Americas

* Review weekly the updated sales forecast for United States(Calvert, AL) and Mexico (San Luis Potosi) plants

* Direct Master Production Schedule activity on a weekly basis for both facilities

* Review the Casting production plan for the Melt shop to support both operations

* Manage the reservations and Order Management process for US and Mexico Mill Bookings

* Identify OP needs, select vendors and manage the process

* Coordinate and overseeing manufacturing operations in order to forecast orders and meet customer demands.

* Collaborate with other departments to close operational gaps.

* OEM supply tracking and reporting

* Manage Central Stock replenishment and SKU selection

* Management and Direction of Central Stock inventories (Coordinate Inventory including Physical Reconciliation)

* Direct the process of Bookings and Load Planning by Logistics for Truck, Rail and Water Shipments for US and Mexico

* Selection, Reporting and Direction of Outside Processing activities

* Shipped On-Time in full measure and reporting for all Americas facilities.

* Act as a team lead, training mentoring and developing team's member knowledge and skills.

Competencies and Skills:

* Expert level in Microsoft Excel (advance formulas), SAP, BW and others

* Advance knowledge of forecasting

* Strong analytical and logical thinking

* Ability to solve complex mathematical/statistical situation and to understand financial statements.

* Ability to negotiate successfully

* Strong understanding of economics and Market Dynamics

* Ability to be a team builder

Salary: $136,200 to $187,300
