Job Responsibilities
- Apply a fundamental understanding of contract management within the federal government domain to provide administrative oversight for a contract portfolio. Responsibilities include review, negotiation, correspondence, documentation, and strategic go-to-market activities between the firm and clients.
- Support RFPs/RFQs and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements.
- Work collaboratively with various stakeholders and draft contracts related documents. Interface with all levels of the delivery teams, functional support organizations, and client organizations. Act as point of contact for internal and external clients.
- Maintain historical contract information and maintain and update contract management information systems. Support the monthly production and monitoring of metrics and provide reporting to leadership.
- Ensure contracts information systems (internal/external) are accurate and maintained according to requirements/procedures.
- Act as lead for both internal/external data calls and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare and/or review proposal artifacts in response to a Federal Government Request for Proposal (RFP)
- Review and/or negotiate Federal Government Contracts of varying types (FFP, T&M, IDIQ, CPFF, performance based, etc.), teaming, consulting, and non-disclosure agreements, memorandum of understanding, and other contract related documents.
- Ensure compliance with customer, contractor, and corporate policies and procedures.
- Assist with program management by interpreting contractual, FAR/DFAR, and unique procurement regulations.
- Establish and maintain excellent customer relations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of operational and business experience in federal government contract management.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, reading comprehension, and critical thinking skills with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. Ability to excel in a dynamic, customer service-oriented environment. Ability to multi-task and seek assistance from supervisors while prioritizing work to meet deadlines. Strong research, project management, and business analysis skills.
- Experience with government and/or international contract administration and FAR/DFAR requirements preferred.
- Experience with risk mitigation, drafting and negotiating contract terms and conditions, and change orders required.
- Ability to read and comprehend complex contracts.
- Ability to understand and identify contractual requirements and obligations.
- Knowledge of various contract types including Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time & Materials (T&M), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and performance-based.
