Crowder is Building America and Proud of It as reflected in our Mission Statement:We are dedicated to superior performance and committed to making a positive difference for our clients, for our communities, and in the lives of our employees.If you are looking for a career, not just a job, with a company committed to your future, apply today.CROWDER IS PROUD TO BE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY (EOE) AND AFFIRMATIVE ACTION (AA) EMPLOYERAll Qualified Candidates including Minorities, Females, Individuals with Disabilities and Veterans are encouraged to apply.Crowder is a Drug Free Workplace and E-Verify EmployerREQUIREMENTS: ALL Applicants must be:* 18 years of Age* Able to Pass a Drug Test* Legally Eligible to Work in the USPrimary Function of a Start-Up Manager:Plan, coordinate and direct onsite personnel in assisting Client during start-up of plant unit.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:* Construction Phase Duties:* Support Project Manager with discovery, repair, and maintenance of existing plant assets.* Coordinate with construction personnel to support installation of new assets and tie-in to existing plant assets.* Project Start-Up and Commissioning:* Lead the start-up and commissioning of the RNG plant, ensuring all systems are operational and optimized.* Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and engineering teams to test and validate the performance of equipment, including anaerobic digesters, gas scrubbers, compressors, and RNG injection systems.* Develop and implement start-up protocols and safety procedures.* Operations Management:* Oversee the daily operations of the RNG facility, including feedstock handling, anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, and RNG pipeline injection through final completion.* Manage equipment maintenance schedules to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency.* Monitor process parameters, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance to achieve production targets.* Team Leadership:* Foster a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.* Stakeholder Coordination:* Collaborate with dairy farm operators to manage manure feedstock supply, quality, and logistics.* Liaise with regulatory agencies through Project Manager to ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards.* Work with utilities and pipeline companies to coordinate RNG delivery and reporting.* Coordinate with Suppliers and Subcontractors for Owner Operations Training. This shall include, but not be limited to scheduling and training materials.* Financial and Performance Metrics:* Support Project Manager to monitor and manage project budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as gas yield, uptime, and environmental compliance.* Provide regular updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and opportunities.SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, & EXPERIENCE:* Bachelor's degree in engineering, environmental science, agriculture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).* 5+ years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in anaerobic digestion, RNG production, or a similar field.* Experience with dairy farming, manure management, or agricultural waste systems is highly desirable.* Strong understanding of anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, and gas pipeline systems.* Familiarity with control systems (e.g., SCADA), mechanical equipment, and maintenance practices.* Knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, and permitting processes for RNG projects.* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment and adapt to changing prioritiesBenefits:Crowder's Mission Statement is the commitment to make a positive difference in the lives of our employees.
