Job Summary:We are seeking either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic urgent care team. As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in our urgent care setting, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide variety of conditions, perform minor procedures, and ensure the highest standard of patient care in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and ordering diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, infections, and injuries. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and incision and drainage. Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members as needed. Provide patient education regarding health, wellness, and follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely medical records. Qualifications: Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in CA. National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant? Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an urgent care or emergency care setting preferred. Proficient in minor procedures (e.g., suturing, splinting), x-ray interpretation and ECG interpretation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities. ACLS/BLS certification required. Strong commitment to teamwork and patient-centered care.
