Overview:
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an Employee Benefits Technology Specialist to manage and optimize employee benefits technology platforms. This role enhances efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction by ensuring seamless access to benefits administration technology. The Specialist will collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to improve benefits enrollment, management, and reporting processes.

Essential Duties:
- Technology Platform Management:
- Oversee the implementation, customization, and optimization of employee benefits technology platforms (e.g., Ease, Employee Navigator).
- Manage integrations between benefits platforms and HRIS/payroll systems.
- Act as the primary contact for technology support and troubleshooting for clients and internal users.
- Client Onboarding and Support:
- Guide clients through onboarding, ensuring successful platform setup and implementation.
- Train clients and HR teams on platform features, including enrollment and reporting processes.
- Provide ongoing system maintenance and troubleshooting support.
- Process Improvement and Optimization:
- Identify opportunities for workflow automation and technology enhancements.
- Develop processes for benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations to reduce manual tasks.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline client service delivery through technology.
- Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of client benefits data within platforms.
- Generate and analyze reports for clients and internal teams (e.g., enrollment status, compliance, billing audits).
- Assist clients with ACA reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Vendor and Carrier Coordination:
- Resolve integration issues with benefits carriers, vendors, and payroll providers.
- Partner with technology vendors to ensure optimal platform functionality and support.
- Training and Education:
- Stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements.
- Educate internal teams and clients on new technology features and benefits.
Requirements/Skills:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 2+ years working with employee benefits technology platforms (e.g., Ease, Employee Navigator, bswift).
- Experience in employee benefits, HRIS systems, or insurance agency environments.
- Skills:
- Strong technical proficiency with benefits administration platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Certifications:
- Certifications in benefits technology systems or HRIS platforms (e.g., Ease Certified Administrator) are a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
- Ability to work on a computer for prolonged periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 10–15 lbs may be required.
