LaSalle Network is searching for an Inventory Specialist for a leading company in the Industrial Machining sector. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient management of spare parts inventory and contributing to the company's operational success. • Maintain an organized and accurate parts inventory system to meet operational demands
• Locate and order out-of-stock items
• Issue purchase orders to external suppliers and track backordered items

• Provide cost estimates to customers and create/send invoices promptly
• Pack and ship parts efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Handle up to 50 lbs. during packaging and shipment preparation
• Leverage software tools such as SAP/ABAS (or other ERP systems) and Salesforce to manage inventory and customer data effectively
• Work closely with equipment technicians to align inventory needs and processes
• Identify and implement ways to streamline parts management and enhance efficiency

Inventory Specialist Requirements

• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in inventory management software
• Strong organizational and customer service skills
• Mechanical knowledge or repair experience (optional but advantageous)
• Ability to work both hands-on (20%) and desk-based (80%) after initial onboarding
• Ability to lift and handle up to 50 lbs.
• A proactive, doer mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Eagerness to grow with the company and contribute to a team-focused environment.
