We evaluate and assess proposed and existing processes based on our experience of product design, materials and manufacturing methods such as tooling and assembly methodologies.In short, EDAG designs what happens inside the four walls a client's facility: Whether it is 10,000 square feet or 1 million, we can help design the factory of the future.This is how you will grow:Our HSSE Coordinator will work collaboratively with our team of construction professionals to foster a world class safety culture while representing the owners of a new construction project in Sumter, SC. Day-to-day responsibilities will require you to utilize your education and/or experience to make judgment calls that minimize our craft's exposure to both known and unknown hazards. You should enjoy spending most of your time in the field - amongst the craft - as opposed to a cozy laidback office environment. A small portion of your time will be spent honing your administrative capabilities through development of policies, procedures, and trainings, dissemination of pertinent HSSE information, and entering field observations. Occasionally, you will be given a soapbox to discuss HSSE topics with throngs of construction professionals. While you may be offered additional days, our current needs require your presence on site for a minimum of 8 to 10 hours Monday through Friday. This is a Safety Sensitive position; therefore, you will be required to submit to a background check and drug screening.RequirementsThis is how you will take us forward:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher in a Related Field of Study (Compliance, Construction, Engineering, Safety, etc.)
  • In Lieu of a Degree, 5 Years of Construction Related Work Experience
  • A Stickler for Punctuality
  • Expert at Interpreting Federal, State, and Local HSE Standards
  • Advanced Knowledge of both Behavioral-Based and Systems Safety
  • Thorough Understanding of Hazard Mitigation Techniques
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving Adeptness
  • Selfless - Natural Desire to Put Others First
  • Keen Attention to Detail
  • Data Generation and Analysis
  • Ability to Manage and Prioritize Multiple Tasks
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Advanced Computer/Tablet Knowledge
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to Type 40 - 60 WPM
