Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is now hiring an Assistant Project Manager for our Projects Division in Lynchburg and surrounding areas. Moore's Project Division supports commercial and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
* Attend turnover meetings for all jobs they are assigned to
* Help complete job setups, buyouts, and info sheets
* Start and maintain submittal logs throughout entire submittal process
* Review GC schedule and create/maintain MEP schedule including equipment delivery, schedules, etc.
* Type RFI's and assemble info and pricing for change orders
* Help highlight drawings, put together As-Builts, and help with internal punch list at job completion
* Complete safety checks and enter information in app during job visits
* Print and complete job storage sheet while ensuring all items are present for storage
* Perform other duties assigned by Department or Project Manager
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering, and/or equivalent field experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Mechanical Piping preferred
* Proficient math and reading skills
* Exceptional leadership, customer service, and communication skills, both written and verbal
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
* Ability to work individually with a teamwork mindset
* Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, email, and internet usage; experience in Bluebeam and Smartsheet a plus
