Responsibilities

+ Clean, sand, and prepare surfaces of military components for finishing processes, ensuring they meet specifications

+ Use various tools and techniques to polish surfaces to achieve desired finishes, such as mirror or matte finishes, on metal and composite materials.

+ Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, ensuring they meet military standards and specifications.

+ Operate polishing machines, grinders, and other finishing equipment, following safety protocols and maintenance procedures

+ Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand finishing requirements for various components.
