At Southend Pharmacy, we're seeking a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a difference in patient care.E-Verify compliant employerAbout the Role:As a Sterile Pharmacy Technician, you'll be an integral part of our team, working closely with pharmacists to handle tasks such as repackaging, compounding, and filling sterile medications. Your work directly impacts the well-being of patients of all ages.Responsibilities:Your Mission Includes:- Compounding sterile prescriptions with precision and care.- Ensuring timely and accurate medication distribution.- Maintaining strict compliance with sterile procedures and cleanliness.- Organizing and managing medication orders and records.- Monitoring and replenishing medication supplies.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you should have:- RPHT-TX certification from the State Board of Pharmacy.- CPHT certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (preferred).- Recent experience in sterile pharmacy technician roles.- IV certification.- Completion of 40 hours of accredited training in compounding sterile products (preferred).Benefits and Compensation:-Salary: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour-Benefits: Medical and dental after 90 days (only for w-2 hires, not candidates employed by staffing agencies since they are on a contract basis)-Bonus based on company and personnel performance-Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks/80 hours of PTO provided after the first year of employment. (only applies to w-2 employees, not people coming from staffing agencies)Additional Information:This position is full-time with the opportunity for contract-to-hire after 13 weeks. We offer first and second shift options with local travel requirements.
