The KPI Manager in a flooring manufacturing factory is responsible for overseeing the
performance management systems, ensuring that both production and administrative
teams meet key performance indicators (KPIs), and efficiently managing office staff. This
role focuses on optimizing operational performance and supporting factory goals through
effective leadership and analytical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
1. KPI Management
KPI Design and Implementation: Develop and implement KPIs specifically tailored to
SPC manufacturing, tracking key metrics such as production output, efficiency, defect
rates, and downtime.
Monitor Production Performance: Regularly assess KPIs to ensure production targets
are met, providing actionable insights to the production team.
Data Reporting: Analyze and compile performance data into comprehensive reports
for senior management, highlighting areas for improvement or optimization in the
factorys operations.
Continuous Improvement Plans: Identify underperforming areas and develop
improvement strategies to enhance production efficiency and product quality.
2. Office Staff Management
Leadership of office Team: Manage the day-to-day activities of administrative staff,
ensuring smooth operations in areas such as inventory tracking, HR support,
documentation, and communications.
Workforce Coordination: Plan and organize office staff scheduling and workload
management to align with the production needs of the factory.
Training and Development: Identify training needs for office staff facilitating skill
development to improve administrative efficiency and coordination with the factory
floor.
Performance Appraisals: Conduct periodic performance evaluations for office staff,
offering feedback and setting objectives to improve productivity and job satisfaction.
3. Process and Efficiency Optimization
Operational SOPs: Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for both office
and production-related administrative tasks to ensure efficiency in support of factory
operations.
Process Improvement Initiatives: Lead initiatives aimed at streamlining
administrative workflows to support production goals, such as reducing delays in
documentation, approvals, and communications.
4. Compliance and Policy Enforcement
Policy Management: Ensure all office and production policies related to attendance,
safety, and factory regulations are properly implemented and followed by both
administrative and production teams.
Document Control: Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, production
performance, and other operational data to support audits and internal reviews.
Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or issues within the office staff and between
office and production teams to maintain a collaborative and efficient working
environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Production Metrics: Meeting production targets in areas like output, quality, and
efficiency.
Office Operational Efficiency: Reducing delays in administrative tasks such as
documentation processing and inventory management.
Staff office Retention and Development: Success in retaining office and ensuring

Process Improvements: Implementation of cost-saving measures and reductions in
workflow bottlenecks.
Compliance: High adherence to factory policies, safety protocols, and regulatory
requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelors degree in business administration, HR
Management, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in KPI management, office management, or a
similar role within a manufacturing or industrial facility, preferably in a flooring or
related industry, 3+ years in HR.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop office staff while ensuring
alignment with factory operations.
Analytical Expertise: Strong ability to analyze production and administrative data to
provide actionable insights and solutions.
Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to
engage effectively with factory management and administrative staff.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and address
issues that may affect factory or office performance.
Technological Proficiency: Experience with manufacturing software, SAP, KPI tracking
tools, and office management systems.
Work Environment
