What You'll Be Doing:
- Participate in the month-end close process for the environmental business unit, including preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and reporting.
- Carry out monthly consolidation for a sub-group within the environmental business unit.
- Prepare account analysis and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
- Reconcile project database with external parties and assist with annual audit requests.
- Support the accounting for grants of federally funded programs, ensuring compliance with payroll, travel, and other cost categories.
What Are We Looking For:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience.
- SAP experience.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven history of meeting deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Prefer experience with grant contracts, grant management, and accounting, ensuring meticulous compliance with IFRS, GASB, Uniform Guidance Administrative Requirements, and the Single Audit Act when recording transactions.
