ESSENTIAL DUTIES- Analyze, research, and approve all proposed returns. If denied, cancel pick-up requests, and communicate to the customer and/or sales.
- Issue credits to customers and communicate to customer's sales representative, customer service, and/or customer relations.
- Daily review of the OS&D Log entries, adjust codes/quantities where necessary, and verify entries are complete.
- Communicate with multiple departments as needed
- Monitor email requests for returns, replacement, damages, and/or redeliveries. Enter those into the OS&D Log.
- Review customer item pick-up requests, the date delivered, the date claim was submitted, and that all parameters meet US Foods return policy.
- Release customer pick-ups at the end of each business day.
- Invoice customers for items over-ordered or wrong item shipped where applicable.
- Monitor daily third-party quality/credit reporting platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and interpret English documents such as procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English with proper grammar
- Intermediate mathematical skills
- Ability to research and analyze information to make logical decisions
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Ability to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies
- A minimum of 3 months previous warehousing experience required; previous comparable warehouse experience preferred
Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The expected base rate for this role is between $19.00 - $25.00.
